Measuring approximately 22” wide × 16” deep × 11” tall at her highest point, Elara is the third-largest Himalayan quartz piece in the collection, surpassed in scale only by Summit and Atlas. Yet her size is only part of what makes her remarkable.
Her formation is unlike any of the others.
Rather than growing across a single plane, Elara rises, falls, wraps backward, and rises again. In one particularly striking section, the quartz points sweep from the front of the formation toward the back before another layer emerges immediately behind them and climbs upward once more.
The effect is remarkably reminiscent of ocean waves — one crest folding forward while another rises behind it.
This movement gives Elara extraordinary depth. Her crystals appear at different heights, angles, and planes, creating an almost sculptural formation that changes continuously as you move around her. A Landscape of Crystal
Elara’s surface carries tremendous variation in scale. Larger, substantial quartz points rise among an abundance of miniature and micro-sized terminations, creating an intricate crystalline landscape rather than a uniform field of points.
